Poetry
How blessed this Summer morning.
The gentle scented breeze.
Golden shafts of sunshine,
showered from the trees.
New life in the hedgerows,
blossom dancing round.
Drinking in the wonder,
where beautiful is found.
Looking up to rustling leaves,
against the bluest sky.
As overhead an Eagle soars
flies my spirit high.
Over velvet mountains,
fields of golden corn.
Fills my soul,
makes me whole,
and perfect peace is born.
