Many things have been said and believed about Jesus over the centuries. Let's set the record straight once and for all, by going to the Bible, God's divinely inspired source.

Jesus' life can be sectioned into four general areas, which all hinge on His divinity: His resurrection, his post-resurrection physical appearances, His miracles, and His claims about Himself. Everyone lives and dies, has a vocation, and runs a daily routine of living. That part is not important. Jesus' life was everything but routine. This could be His personal resume.

I, JESUS, ROSE FROM THE DEAD.

This was an historical fact. Oh, there are people who have said I didn't really die, that I was drugged. Then there are those who have claimed that my body was stolen from the tomb. Well, they don't know what they are talking about. Yes, I did rise from the dead. In fact, people saw me afterward with the nail prints in my hands and feet from that old rugged cross they hung me on. Many people, however, have willfully chosen to reject all of this.

I, JESUS, WAS SEEN BY MANY, MANY PEOPLE AFTER I ROSE FROM THE DEAD.

Here is what my references have to say.

Matthew and Mark record in the last chapter of each of their books how I appeared and spoke with a group of people.

Luke has lots to say about me after I rose from the dead. In chapter 24 of his book he records 2 stories. The first story in verses 15-31 says I met some people on a road and started talking to them, but they did not recognize me. It says I also ate with them, then they recognized me but I vanished from their sight. The second story, in verses 36-51, says that I simply appeared and stood in their midst. The people gathered together thought I was just a spirit until I started talking to them and eating with them. Luke says that I also showed them the nail prints in my hands and feet and let them touch me.

Another one of my references, John, also wrote a book. In it he says I did the same thing. I just appeared twice without coming through the doors, like people did in that Star Trek movie in the twentieth century, but I didn't have to say, "Beam me up, Scotty." I had a habit of reappearing in different locations, all by myself. I let the people who saw me appear put their hands on my body and feel me, so they would believe it was really me.

In the next chapter of his book, John says I was on the beach having a barbeque when some of the disciples who were fishing saw me. John says that I not only told them exactly where to drop the net to catch a lot of fish, but I then cooked the fish and invited the disciples to have breakfast.

In Acts 1:3-9 it says I was physically on the earth for 40 days after I rose from the dead, performed many convincing proofs, and then right in front of people I ascended into a cloud and disappeared. Another place in the Bible it says I appeared to over 500 people at one time.

I, JESUS, PERFORMED MIRACLES.

I fed over 5,000 people wiath just five loaves of bread and two fish. I healed the sick, just by speaking, without medicine. I raised the dead, turned water into wine, cast out demons, and walked on water.

Even the weather obeyed my commands. One time I was on a boat with some of my disciples, when a bad storm arose. I simply commanded the wind to stop, and it did.

I, JESUS, MADE MANY CLAIMS ABOUT MYSELF.

John recorded many of these in his book.

"He who drinks the water that I give will never thirst again."

"I am the light of the world."

"I am the bread of life."

"Unless you believe in me you shall die in your sins."

"I and the father, God, are one."

"I am the resurrection and the life."

"I am the way, the truth, and the life."

No other religious leader or historical figure has ever come close to doing what I did. I truly was and am God in human flesh. I was the person who fulfilled Old Testament prophecies made hundreds of years before I was even born in that little manger in Bethlehem. When I was upon the earth, history was divided into A.D. AND B.C.

I am coming back to the earth very soon, and when I do, things will happen that will make what I did during my first earthly life look like childs play. Be ready, because in my name every knee shall bow and every tongue is going to confess that I am the Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

So, who do people say that I am? Who do YOU say that I am?

We must NOT compromise his message.
We must NOT try to explain away His miracles.
We must NOT deny his diety.

Jesus was everything He claimed to be. You have a choice to either accept it or reject it, but they both have eternal consequences.
