Lord provide, with each heavy burden,
Ability to rest in you each day
Upon his promise I’ll stay

My heart strong, with Amazing Grace
“Never doubt”, is His request
Steadfast in His presence

My trust I commit, lest I despair
Confident in my Lord
His precious loving care

Desire for me, to see Him through
Know the presence of His gracious love
Sheltered care in our Lord above

When I find my cross heavy to carry
I look to the prompting of His call
His promise will stand, never to fall

Answer me O Lord, Yes, answer me
His word abides, lest I should fret
He will be my stay, every need met

Even I, your child in love
Will never doubt the cross I carry
Will bring me nearer, never too weary

Your promise will bring new hope
Certain of God’s power, never to tarry
Loving Him more, with the cross I carry
