“No one can please God without faith. Whoever goes to God must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who seek Him” (Hebrews 11:6).

We live in a world where we analyze everything to make sure it makes sense before we take action. No wonder people find it difficult to accept the Christian faith because you don’t really have to do anything to earn salvation. All you have to do believe that Jesus came to die your sins and accept Him as the Lord of your life. Is it that difficult just to believe?

Ever since I surrendered my life to Christ, life has been a totally new experience to me. It is pretty exciting not exactly knowing how your next day is going to turn out but believing that all will be well with God by your side. I’m not saying that you should go about life without making plans but make sure you include God in your plans so that if He happens to change any of them, you would not freak out since you have already factored that in- God can be unpredictable sometimes and it’s all good because whatever He does or does not do is for your own good.

Believing that all will be well when God is in charge is like being led to a place unknown with closed eyes but with your steps steadily guided by Him. There will be times where the ground could be slippery but if you hold on tight to Him, He will lead you safely through. There will be times where you kind of get stuck because you found yourself among thorns (worldly pressures and distractions). You should not panic and let go of His hand. No matter how hopeless the situation might seem to be, only believe that He is faithful to get you out. You don’t have to work yourself out of the mess. Just believe.

Such a life of faith is what pleases God; trusting Him completely in putting your life in His hands. As Bishop TD Jakes once said, “God always pays for what He orders,” God rewards those who diligently seek Him. He orders your complete faith and He pays you with a reward that is absolutely mind-blowing.

Life may feel uncomfortably uncertain entrusting your entire life in a Being you cannot even see. But that’s what makes the whole walk with God a very unique experience. Just take one day at a time. Just commit your day to Him; ask Him to lead your every way and guide your every step. And watch how your life totally transforms into something beautiful…something you possibly can’t do on your own.

Life doesn’t have to be complicated. All you have to do is to believe in Him and trust me, He will take great care of you in a way that no one can. Only believe…
