Emmanuel- God with us
Surround, bend down, draw near
Wrap your arms ‘round me
Dispel my every fear.

Prince of Peace- I need You
Speak to this storm of life
The winds and waves obey You
Deliver me from strife.

Everlasting Father-
Comfort me, your child
Speak your tender mercies
Help me through this trial.

Light of my World,
Crush darkness, flooding now my soul
Illuminate life more clearly
Deliver, make me whole.

Jesus, Savior, Lamb of God,
You understand my pain
Hold my heart and make me breathe,
Help me feel again.

Shepherd of my weary soul,
Guide me to your secret place
Make me rest- lay all care down
Safely hold with faithful grace.

Wonderful Way-maker, Redeemer over all
Reign in this chaotic mess
Anchor me in timeless truth
To know your love is endless.

This parallel organization in poetry really appeals to me - I echo the first commenter! Our Redeemer comes with so many names and titles, it is gratifying to explore how each one identifies something special in His relationship with us. I'm glad you shared this with us! <3
