A dependable friend is what we all need at all times.
Life is really full of struggles every day, for every day the devil is on the lookout to break us down, to beat us down and to finish us, for his ultimate aim is only our destruction and his desire that we perish,
however if we could only seek help from an unlimited and always available resource, we could be saved.
"O my God, I trust in You;
Let me not be ashamed;
Let not my enemies triumph over me" Psalms 25:2 (NKJV)
David makes this humble prayer before God and seeks help, the Lord did deliver him and made him victorious.
God has given us a wonderful liberty to pray, which even though seems to be a very easy tool, yet is the most powerful tool/weapon with us.
Prayer is something we can have at anytime anywhere and it will really deliver us for Jesus said this....
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you." Matthew 7:7 (NKJV)
God has commanded us to ask, seek and knock and He will surely respond, for He is not a human being to lie and forget His promises.
However the answer of God may sometimes be "Yes" if He agrees to what we are praying for, sometimes "No" for anything He disagrees with us & "Yes but wait for the right time.
After having prayed, and after having unburdened our hearts before God in prayer, we can rest assured that He will deliver us in His right time and thus we can be safe.
However do not forget to pray, for prayer is not an eye opener for God Who then discovers our problems and hunts around to find solutions,
prayer is just the breaking the wall between us and the solution from God which will reach us in 'His right time.'
for God already knows what we need before we pray, however we will only receive that after having prayed.
James wonderfully explains why we do not receive our blessedness....
"....Yet you do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures. " James 4:2-3(NKJV)
We do not have because we do not ask and often what we ask is wrong and thus we do not get it.
Dear One!!! Prayer is the best and the easiest way to reach God and receive our deliverance, let not the devil hinder us from it, thus in everything and at all times, let's pray.
God Bless,
Abraham
