I sit here in my emptiness
Lost in every way.
Silently I look for God
But don’t know how to pray.

Is He really out there?
Can He see this man?
Will He save me from my life
As I change back into sand?

Thoughts of all my yesterdays
Cause me to hide in shame.
Wandering through this place.
Calling out His name.

Then one day I found it
As I searched the web.
All I asked was who was God
And this is what it said

Is God in existence?
Fifty ways to prove he’s not.
Even an interview with Him
This is what I got.

This was so depressing
I cried into the night.
Is there no one out there
To help me with this plight?

Then one day I found it
Laying dusty on the shelf
A book they called the Bible
It brought me back to health.

It is my new search engine.
It helps me on my way.
It has shown me what is needed
Teaching me what to say.

I know my Father loves me
He answers all my prayers.
Cause even when I doubted
He still was there to care.
