The sense of déjà vu ever so strong.
Every step abounding in joyful exuberance
To muse over past events.

I walked down a nostalgic road
To dwell upon pleasant remembrances.
Having witnessed the scene before
Experienced reality to the full.

I walked down a sentimental road
To fondly recall some warm moments.
Yearning for the glories of a bygone era
The road carefully adorned with evergreen thoughts.

I walked down a wistful road
The lanterns of faith burning bright.
The path a long and comforting one
The bend in the road a curve of hope.

I walked down an historical road
A reminder of the way it used to be.
A welcome path that rushed to meet my steps half-way through
Waiting to repeat itself all over again.

I walked down an alluring road
Souvenirs gathered along the route.
Memories kept alive in the heart
The memento of eternal love.
