On your mountains give me perseverance, in your valleys bring renewal.
May your rivers refresh my spirit and your streams fill my soul to overflowing.
Send the rains of your righteousness to dry my sea of troubles.
I will take my strength from this valley for my journey through these hills.
For there are still mountains I must climb before I can move a single one.
I shall embark again and I will conquer the thorns and brush that block my way.
My eyes are set to the top of this mountain, that Which lies in my way will be trampled.
You, oh lord, are my map, my guide, my compass.
These rocks may cause me to stumble, by your grace I shall not fall, for you are the true rock.
The elements create a war with me lord, they try to extinguish the fire which burns within me.
The leaves have turned, the sky has sent its fury.
Though it is harder to see you in the midst of this storm,
It is now i feel you more than ever.
How long will these winds rage? When will the echo of this thunder cease?
For it is no matter, renew my patience over and again.
The clouds are now gone, your wind has sent them to the sea.
You have brought sunlight, it pierces the trees.
Your wind sings through the leaves and brings rest to my soul..
Soon this mountain will be but a memory, i will not look back- for your promises lie ahead.
I know the battle is not over my king, help me Encourage those who lie in defeat.
Those who have strayed from the path, those who lie in slumber.
May you wake them, cast deception from their eyes.
With our eyes we chose wrong paths, by your hand- graces welcomes us back.
For the earth which looks solid from afar may become like quicksand.
It is then we must reach.
It is then we know that you alone, lord, are enough.
The night is nearly over, a ray of light cracks the dark sky.
I will rejoice, I will shout through these hills.
Not for the mountain that has been conquered,
But for the promise of the valley ahead..
