Our identity is in Jesus
He defines who we are,
And how people see us
Reveals his character.

Showing us how to live
And put our faith in him,
For he's the one who gives
Us strength from within.

From within the shadows
People have been healed,
By his love it shows
Of mysteries been revealed.

He brings forth revelation
To our heart, soul and mind,
Casting out desolation
Cause hope in him we'll find.

We find in him the strength
To leave our past behind,
And go to any length
To let him be our guide.

Guiding through all our strife
For in him we are strong
Walking with us in this life
For in him we will belong

Belonging to a family
Where forever love resides
Following a destiny
Until we're at his side.
