When I seek You I can’t find,
The joy I used to know.
I am invisible to You,
So then I think I’ll go.

Hiding in my sinful ways,
Not knowing how or why.
I bow my head in shame,
Quietly I cry.

There is an emptiness you see,
That engulfs my soul.
I am only half,
Where once I was so whole.

I hide among the rocks,
Ashamed of whom I am.
My weariness comes crashing down,
And my soul is dammed.

But thank You for Your lasting love,
Forgiveness is now mine.
You wipe the slate of all my sins,
And things will turn out fine.
