Butterfly

Awakened, out of its bland cocoon,
Been held down, held in far too long.
Delicate in distinction, intricate in design,
Grace granted a passionate, free spirited heart.
Raring to move to its own unique groove,
Dance carefree amid the light of the sun,
Audaciously color the atmosphere,
A visual delight, mesmerizing in flight.
Stopping, now and then, to savor the sweet,
Then, suddenly, off to see other sights.
Enjoy the rousing vista while it’s in view.
The butterfly shall rise, fly away into the blue.

...For the butterfly people...

And God saw every thing that he had made,
And, behold, it was very good. Genesis 1:31
