Apologetics
The Day of Judgment...
Is coming, on the wings
The Day of reckoning
Is on the horizon, at hand
Coming like a thief in the night
Despite false predictions-
Scriptural violation
Because
‘no one knows the date or the hour’
so shall it be,
just like Jesus said.
Many will be partying,
Marrying and given
and giving in marriage;
Going about their business as usual.
Mockers will be saying:
‘Where is the coming of the Lord?’
It shall be tempestuous
and terrible for the wicked,
The unrepentant and unregenerate.
The wicked will wail, wane,
whine and pine in pain.
But the righteous will be glad.
The wicked will be burnt up
as in a furnace-their leaves,
branches, root and all.
The righteous will rejoice,
Elated, greeted by the sight
of the Bridegroom
Come to take His bride to His side.
They will be filled with excitement,
Like sheep let out for pasture.
The Sun of Righteousness
will rise over them
with great brightness;
With healing in His wings,
Healing all their hurts;
With balm in His hands
Binding all their wounds.
As a Good Shepherd, He will
Lead them out to their divine haven;
Their Promised Land
and their green pastures.
But the wicked will be blown
away by the wind, like a chaff.
In which company will you be?
The Great Day of God
1 “For behold, the day is coming,
Burning like an oven,
And all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble.
And the day which is coming shall burn them up,”
Says the LORD of hosts,
“ That will leave them neither root nor branch.
2 But to you who fear My name
The Sun of Righteousness shall arise
With healing in His wings;
And you shall go out
And grow fat like stall-fed calves.
Mal4.:1-2
1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 (New King James Version)
16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
No One Knows the Day or Hour
36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven,[a] but My Father only. 37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be..Matt24:36,37
[ No One Knows the Day or Hour ] “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. . 33 Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is.Mark13:32,33
2 Thessalonians 2:2-4 (New King James Version)
2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ[a] had come. 3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin[b] is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God[c] in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

God’s Promise Is Not Slack
1 Beloved, I now write to you this second epistle (in both of which I stir up your pure minds by way of reminder), 2 that you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us,[a] the apostles of the Lord and Savior, 3 knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” 5 For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, 6 by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. 7 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us,[b] not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
