And a golden bell
They searched high
They searched low
There was no place
They wouldn't go!

Through slime and sludge
Through grime and gloom
Even into an octagonal room
With doors aplenty
Choose right
Or
ZOOM!!!
Down to the underworld
Dark and bleak
Lost for a month, a week
(or at least a few hours!!!)
Clambering up Twin Towerss!
Pottering around across hill and dale
Flying high on a giant snail
Or glass elevator
(chocolate provided free of charge!!!)

Oh I really cannot tell

Pilgrim's Progress
Miss Trunchpole in a floral dress
(heaven forbid!!!)
I don't think so!

David and Goliath
Sampson and Hood
Robin, that is!
And of course

An agent from Heaven

But best for me
Best of all
Is the hero's hero
Gabriel
The winged messenger from above
Bringing hope
Bringing love

My favourite book
I remember it well
Fired my imagination
And opened my eyes to endless possibilities!
