Let my lamp be burning, Lord
Let my lamp be burning!
When the light gets faded,
And life's struggles ride.,
When the wind is tossed,
And things are screwed;
When the waters rush,
And make a great hush;
When there is no hand to hold,
Nor a thing to be told;
When through life's mountain,
Nothing seems to be done...
Let my lamp be burning, Lord
Let my lamp be burning!
Though the flame is small,
Lord, You wont let it fall!!
Let not what I am,
And the struggles that jam,
Put off the lamp that is dull,
And turn me to hell.!
Let me cling on to the hope,
That You can only provide,
Making the dull flame bright,
So as to render light!
Let my lamp be burning, Lord
Let my lamp be burning!
