“Buddy”
Blessings to you Dear Friend,
“Buddy”
Every man arrives at various stages in their lives to make certain decision(s). Let it be young or let it be a senior, decision will come and those decision will have to be made.
Of course it didn’t happened any other way with my son either, when he decided that he would like to have a puppy for his birthday with the acceptance of all the responsibilities which this journey would come with. Re-think this major request actually have confirmed two major things/wisdoms which a boy needs to have…the first one is the puppy and the second is to have a mother who is allowing him to have one. Lucky guy, both worked for him. The puppy successfully were “recruited” and in the form of a six weeks old jack russel fellow has arrived at our house with the name called, Buddy. Forever busy, forever playing (and still sleeping a lot as well) but forever cute… Little brown patches on the one ear and brown circle on the eye with a little white body…
When I look down on him, I can just read his little face telling me…”Hey Pops, it wasn’t me!!” but than again, I know it was him. He, of course, still up a few times in the night but with time he is getting there to sleep through. Teaching him to listen but being a proper jack russel, this attribute may will not work so well. However his obedience towards his new family will remain crucial for the rest of his life.
Buddy joined me not so long ago in my quiet time early in the morning just after we have done our “outside duties” and he stayed awake playing. I prayed. For the dog. That God Will Bless him and he will remain a good and healthy doggy. I thanked God for the puppy, for the join I could saw on my son face when this little guy became his “Buddy”.
And The Lord Spoken to my heart that morning and I am sure He Spoken to Buddy’s heart as well.
He Said…”My Boy, teaching him of obedience is the same what I Have Shown you to do for Me…”
Whatever Buddy will do as the years will go by, sometimes stumble and do wrongs or doing good but his obedience should never change….he will always be a puppy.
And as for us, after an entire whole week and a half of experience raising a puppy, I can say…its good to be a buddy…for Him!
On behalf of Buddy, God Bless you Friend,
George.
Here I am! I stand at the door and knock.”
(Revelation 3;20)
