THE DROPS OF TIME,

The drops of time
Gather into pools
And empty themselves into the eternal seas
Holding within each drop, memories

Through the pore of time comes,
The golden minute, pearl drop
Where lives on leaf edge stand
And thirsting hands throb

For that golden drop
That births the monuments
Upon which histories stand

Irreversible like the falling stars
Precious like dew on parched leaves
That makes kings out of men
In the twinkle of an eye.

Only those that tarry in dice houses
Continually staring at time in the face,
Sieving the tide
To discern that inscrutable visage

Ever will see behind the pall of clouds
The burning star
Moving with the speed of elohim
That makes alive the sceptre

As we live
We gather vapours
And Journey to that precipice
Where the silence is deafening

Therefore we must thirst
Before that edge, dark,
That repels the souls of the greats
And strips all of every work of the hands
