Luke 16 (New Living Translation)

16 “Until John the Baptist, the law of Moses and the messages of the prophets were your guides. But now the Good News of the Kingdom of God is preached, and everyone is eager to get in.

Dearly Beloved, the above text demonstrated a transitional time in the text from the Law and the prophets until now the time of the Kingdom. We currently live in the time which the Kingdom of God should be preached....do they preach the gospel of the Kingdom of God at your church? This is not another gospel nor is it a new gospel however: it is a revelation of the gospel and for such a time as this. The Law was preached during Moses leadership and the Prophets took center stage during the major and minor prophets days where God was using them as a mouth pieces....does God still uses prophets and preachers, and teachers....? Of course he does......however; the bible declares,"1 Long ago God spoke many times and in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets. 2 And now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son. Hebrews 1:1-2 (NLT). Does the Law still have merit? Of course it does....however; the bible declares,"21 But now God has shown us a way to be made right with him without keeping the requirements of the law, as was promised in the writings of Moses[a] and the prophets long ago. Romans 3:21 (NLT). Therefore: the Law and the Prophets have their roles in regards to revealing God and God's ways to his people but now we are in the dispensation of the Kingdom of God...God is dealing with us as Kingdom citizens, ambassadors of the Kingdom, King of Kings...he has restored dominion back unto the saints, we are experiencing the grace of God and operating in the power of the Kingdom to take authority over our situations and our circumstances, to rule and reign as God citizens on this this earth! I decree and declare as John and Jesus did," Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand!"
