LET HOPE ANCHOR YOUR SOUL

Hebrews 6:18-19, “That by two immutable (unchangeable) things, in that it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us. 19-Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters into that within the veil.”

Colossians 1:27, “To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”

As I was going to church this morning [10-14-01], I felt moved to pray in the Spirit. When I had stopped, I asked this question, “Lord, what is Your Word for today? What is Your Word?” I didn’t have to wait but a second. I didn’t have to strain to try and hear. Very simply and very clearly, the Lord said, “Hope.”

Following is what I believe I heard the Lord saying concerning ‘hope.’ (this word was given to me a while ago but its still just as relevant today as it was then. I felt like the Holy Spirit would have me share it again. This was given me to right after the WTC tradegy. God's message was plain, 'don't lose hope because our hope is in Him.' People today still need to hear God speak this message to their hearts).

Many people today are without hope. I Am the God of hope. I Am your hope. Hope in Me. For as you set your hope in Me, you will realize more fully that I AM the God of hope for your present and for your future. I Am your fortress. I Am your strong tower and the righteous can run into My presence and be safe from every enemy of your soul. My hope is the anchor of your soul. Without Me, there is hopelessness. But in My presence, there is fullness of joy. I came to give you a hope that is not of this world. But a hope that brings with it a deep abiding joy.

Many people in the world and in My own Body are experiencing fear because of the terror that's been perpetrated in the earth by the enemy. If the enemy is allowed to steal your hope, then he has succeeded in stealing your life. Therefore, guard the hope of your heart for out of it flows the issues of life. Let hope come alive in your hearts and know that I Am your Protector. I Am your Deliverer and Your Healer. I Am your hope and your salvation. I Am the Restorer of your soul, so let hope be the anchor of your soul.

My children, you are not a people without hope. You are not a people without a future. Let hope and faith arise in you today and know that I Am your hope. I did not come to give you desolation and hopelessness, but life and to give it to you in abundance. Your abundant life is in Me. Begin to let hope live. Earnestly and intensely expect My life to flow into you in abundance, so that My life can flow out of you in abundance to those around you who are experiencing hopelessness.

Hope in Me and believe that I will do everything I have promised in my Word I will do for your good. Don’t back away from My presence but run, My children. Run into My presence this day and have hope renewed in your spirit. For in the days that are ahead of you, you will need to draw upon your hope and faith in Me. Allow Me to strengthen you and impart in your spirit more of My joy, My faith and My peace. Hope and faith is a forerunner to My peace that will pass all your natural understanding and will lift you into the heavenly realm with Me.

I have made you to sit in heavenly places with Me so that you will be far above all the principalities and powers that try to rob you of hope. That tries to kill your faith and destroy your peace. But run into this place of abiding in My presence NOW. Don’t delay because it is a place where you will find renewal and strength for your spirit, soul and body.

Delight yourselves in the Lord and trust in Me (Psalm 37:3-4). Come into that place of My love and comfort where you will find glorious ecstasy and fullness of joy. Where you will find fullness of My Spirit, whereby I can ignite your hearts with a new and burning passion for Me. For in My presence is fullness of life, not hopelessness. So, don’t hesitate, My children, come now. Come quickly where I wait to embrace you with My love, My passion, My hope, My faith, My joy, My peace and My glory.

Do not fear, for what can man do to you when I, the Lord your God is on your side? Come close and abide in Me, as I long to abide in you more fully. And know that in Me is your hope for today and for your tomorrow. Let My Word under-gird you with truth. Let My hope and faith arise in you and be the anchor of your soul. Allow it to set you in that place of unshakableness. Allow it to steady you. Allow it to settle you. Allow it to establish you, that even when the winds of affliction and persecution come, you will be immovable on the Rock, Christ Jesus, because your hope is anchored in Me.
