Exodus 13:17 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go , that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said , Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt:

Whilst God looked at the trials and tribulations the Israelites were going through, he obviously had a heart. He knew how much pain they had gone through to this end; but his mind was set on something else.

He did not think of the weeping, he focused on the Joy thereafter!

He was concerned about distance; he looked for the Destination; Canaan and not Egypt!

He did not look at numbers, he looked at Will!

He challenged the human disorder of wanting what disillusionly satisfies now over needing what profits eternity! He came in with a better way to look at fate; that is to hold on to faith until what was not seen is even seen. It by far the worst thing to hope in vain; but to hope a little and suffer disbelief for the rest of it is a pity. Remember this, God said he will and that guarantees your strength, in Jesus Christ's name, Amen!
