What to say what to do
I want so badly to help you through
This time of your life
Full of grieving and strife

No words that are mine
Can help in this time
I can only share with you
God’s Word, because I know it’s true

The Lord our God is with you
Mighty to Save He delights in you
Looking down from above
He will quiet you with His love

With singing over you He does rejoice
Close your eyes, can you feel His voice?
An ever present help in time of sorrow
He is the same yesterday and tomorrow

Every promise, for your heart to take
Never will He leave nor forsake
He holds in a bottle every one of your tears
He is there to comfort your sadness and fears

I don’t know what I can do
All I know is I want to help you
There is only one thing I know
Jesus is there for you and He loves you so

I may not understand what you’re going through
There is nothing anyone can say or do
But always remember God knows your pain
At the loss of His Son, His tears fell as rain

He knows you’re hurting, He sees your heart
He knows how this is tearing you apart
There is comfort that He can only bring
He promises to carry you on Eagles wings

High above all troubles and sorrows
Looking beyond all your tomorrows
He’ll see you through as your heart mends
He is there for you, beginning and the end

No words, do I have for you
But what I speak, it is in truth
You know I love you, and Jesus loves you too
