And I don’t really see what this situation has to do with him.

I wonder if you realise he listens when you say that
He turns up your volume a little bit louder.
And then he hears what you’re cursing.
You’re using the creator of the worlds name as a curse.
I’m glad he’s a forgiving God. For your sake.

Oh my Allah?
Oh my Brahman? Oh my Ganesh? Oh my Vishnu
(Actually I quite like that one.... I might start using it)
Oh my Buddha?
Doesn’t have quite the same effect
If we’re a multi faith community
How is it that only one faiths God is taken in vain?

Swear at me, insult me, or cause me pain
Just don’t take my Papa’s name in vain.
