It’s Time To Stop

I John 2:15-17, love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world and the world pass away and the lust thereof; but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever.

Luke 4:8, thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Many will not separate themselves from worldly lusts and so they are sensual not having the Spirit. They are going the way of Cain. The world murmur, complain, walk after the lusts of the world and their mouths speak great swelling words having man’s person in admiration because of advantage. Where is the genuine worship we once gave God?

The commandments forbids us to worship any god other than the true God. We worship people today making idols of them and putting them in a position with God for God to bring them down. We the people have to stop drawing people to us and preach Jesus and Him crucified. Many have used the Church as an image made to worship God but secretly they are only interested in making a name for themselves in society. We build big Edifices, large buildings and now the man and building stand as an idol in the hearts of man. Pride comes in and we forget God. Man plan and rehearse over and over in their minds how they are going to use the church to get rich. If everything goes the way I plan it to, we will be rich!

When it comes to true worship there is an adoration, praise, or prayer that has to be acceptable unto God. Satan came to earth being kicked out of heaven with the same evils he had in heaven against God. All of the mess we face today started in heaven. We need to fall out of sin and spring into Jesus. Man has been deceived of their proper place in God from right after the beginning of Creation. Now, even now man deceives himself, women are deceived and the children is deceived. The whole world is deceived.

One Pastor said it best “some of us need to repent for some of the stuff we produced in the earth”. Wasn’t anything wrong with what God created, its what we allowed to go on in his presence that he did not say anything about. Adam should have corrected Eve but he did not. Still that same spirit rides in the earth today on the backs of men. Now you see man sin in the flesh and Spirit. We are to do the will of God in our lives through submission to every word that proceed out of the Word. We may as well do his will now because we will do it before we leave this earth. What God wants to fulfill in us will be done. You will do it one way or the other. We can stand and proclaim the Word or we can do it from a wheel chair, it’s up to us. It’s time to stop running behind vanity that we increase in stuff rather than Spirit. It’s time to stop planning scenes to the play to raise money for God’s house while our houses be filled with things we don’t need.

Many things in this life increase vanity. A feast is made for laughter and wine maketh merry, but money answered all things. We are to rejoice in truth, but man even rejoice at another’s pain. They are glad to see others walk in ways that please not God so their own sin won’t be found out. Others committing sin give them a door to hide behind. Well she is saved but she do this and that and I don’t do or ever did that. But you did, you just did not know it. How self righteous that is. Self righteousness is a sin in the spirit. Your affections is not set on high; but it warrants you a place in the earth that brings people to you rather than God. Matthew 16:26, for what is a man profited if he shall gain the whole world and lose his soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? From the Creation man has compromised is soul.

Men are loves of their own selves, covetous, boasters (look at what I have and what I have done), proud (I don’t need no one else, I‘ll do it myself), blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that is good, traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof. From such we are to turn away from. We are a people that is ever learning and never able to come to knowledge of the truth.

We have Conferences year after year that only promote the name of the Pastor and the Church, yet it does nothing to correct the sin in the church and out in the hedges and byways that we have been sent to and preach Jesus so much so that even the Devil has to flee. We are suppose to be going into the nations of people baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.. We are to teach them to observe all things whatsoever God has commanded us; and know that God is with us always, even to the end of the world. We are to tell them we have victory in Jesus and they can have that same victory. We can be delivered from oppression, violence, sickness, captivity, and death by the means of redemption through Jesus Christ. We can be reconciled to God, Jesus is our defense. All things are of God who has reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ and given to us this ministry of reconciliation. We can choose God today.

St. John 17:25, O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee and these have known that thou hast sent me. We are to lay up for ourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal. Don’t allow Satan to deceive you any longer. Your soul is not for sale. Your life is precious in the sight of God. There is none good but God so trust Him. For from within, out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, theft, covetousness and lying. Over and over again God has said this in the Word, why don’t we believe? Give your life to God today. God wants to fill you today. He wants to saturate us with his anointing that the yokes may be destroyed in our lives. God desires to fill us with His Spirit permeating and prevailing to the fullest capacity. Absorb all of Him, let Him dissolve in you where you are capable of retaining His Word in your life.

God wants to speak through you and breathe in you so that you can hear His Word and apply it to your heart. He wants to fill your heart with His love. He wants to refresh your soul daily. He wants to be your strength, for His Son Jesus is the key to your deliverance and salvation. God wants to be our all and all. We must pray Lord have your way in me, this is what He awaits to hear us say. Give up sin today, surrender your life to be a life of Christ. Let him be your only step, stop trying to reason in yourself as Felix did in Acts 24:25 sending the men away until he had a convenient season. God is in season everyday. Come to Jesus today. The Word of God is spiritually discerned and is not hard to live.
