Victory In Jesus
The Second Death

St. John. 17:25, O righteous Father the world hath not known thee and these have known that thou hast sent me.

But lay up yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through, nor steal. Don’t allow Satan to deceive you any longer. Your soul is not for sale. Your life is precious in the sight of God. There is none good but God. For from within, out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, theft, covetous and lying.

Victory in Jesus, our main blessings is spiritual knowledge of salvation, remission of sins, holiness, guidance, and peace. Jesus brought us salvation. It seems we have more going against us that for us. It seems like we are being punished for something we had nothing to do with. Well guess what? Jesus suffered in like manner also. Often times we hear of people breaking protocol because they do not understand that we are living in a format that has been viewed and had things inserted in that was never to be. Man in his purest was Adam in the Garden of Eden. He kept the Garden, he ate and he communed with his Creator every day.

But what happened that made him break protocol? God was specific in his rules for living in the earth. God gave Adam the code of life that he was to strictly adhere to, he had correct etiquette and precedence. They fell in love with their surroundings, they fell in love with the things they were over. They listened to other entities that they were never to follow. They also did not know who they were or the power they had over the distractions that came with being earthen vessels come from heaven. Genesis 1:26-27, And God said let us make man in our image after our likeness. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him male and female created he them. Jesus talked about the making of a man. He said in Luke 24:36-39 when He appeared to the Apostles after his resurrection; and as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them and saith unto them, Peace be unto you. But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit. And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? And why do thoughts arise in your hearts? Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself; handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. In our purest form we are spirit. God will use a man or woman for his purpose after the Spirit to get a work done. Many will react to the flesh concerning what God has done in man’s life. They will never receive the spiritual aspect of what God wants done because they are carnal minded. How would we react if we were Hosea when God told him to marry a woman of whoredom? The Church Jesus set up in the earth still practice whoredom in the earth. They jump from one function or another using their carnal minds and never prosper in it because God was left out. Many start out with God but never realize that they must come to Him everyday, over and over again that God may add to the Church. They reverence God out of their flesh rather than their spirit man. God according to his Word pronounced to man that He is a Spirit and we worship Him only in Spirit and Truth. We have faith in God that He is and He created man in that same likeness. The play here on words is created and made.

We see that God is Spirit and when he made man with flesh and bones he breathed that created spirit in man and man became a living soul. Before God made man of flesh he created him with that part that went in him and made him come alive. Without the Spirit breathing in man he will die and only dirt will remain in the earth. This brings the first death to man, that independent separate personality dependant upon God for survival departs man and go back to the Father.

If death is as we think it is, when the heart stops and all functions of the body shut down why is the presence, power, and wisdom of the third person of the Godhead, the Wind of the Spirit still alive? Why do we take so lightly our salvation? The Spirit comes upon us, in us and stays with us. We have victory in Jesus, the Word the second person of the Godhead. He brought to man redemption, the act of redeeming, restoring or repairing to a state that once was, removed the debt owed God from man. Jesus work did not stop there, our deliverance from the power and effects of sin lie in the salvation he has given us through His death, burial and resurrection. Salvation preserves man from the destruction of sin. We have remission of sins where we have been given a state or period of laying aside partly or wholly, slacken or relaxing from penalty. Jesus canceled the indictment or penalty due us, giving us relief from, to submit or refer for consideration judgment or decision. Jesus brought back that state of purity to man once again. Man can live in holiness, the quality or state of being holy, sanctified, exalted or worthy, complete devotion as one perfect in goodness and divine righteousness that we may see our Father in His fullness. In our lives He did not stop there, He gave us guidance, direction provided through the Word and the Holy Ghost Jesus sent back to help us in our walk of Holiness in the earthen realm. The Word is our guide that we need everyday to get the advice we need to our problems. The Word also affords us a process of controlling the course of a principle. We have all we need; all of which come from heaven.

Romans 14:17, for the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost is here to help us. We pray God let your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, but do we believe we can have heaven on earth? At this time Paul was teaching the Romans about their lifestyles in Christ on judging one another and having patience with one another. Christ was always Paul’s example so why wont we try Jesus in our situations today? Christ himself lived in the earth but he did not seek to please himself but God. These things were written for our knowledge and learning that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. We are to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus. We are to speak what Jesus spoke of in his Word. We are to with one mind and one mouth glorify God, receive each other as Christ also received us to the glory of God. Jesus ministered of the Truth of God and the circumcision of the excess of the heart and lifestyle of man that we conform our lives to God and receive the promises made unto us by God.

Jesus, the Word, and the Holy Ghost are our guide that leads and directs our way to God. What a team. Because of this team we have peace, tranquility, or quiet as freedom from disturbances, freedom from disquieting or oppressive thoughts or emotions. We as the Trinity did have harmony together in whatever we work on that is Christ centered. We need harmony in our personal relations and we need mutual concord. Without that we have not the Spirit of God leading our lives. Christ is that spiritual salvation, so man flesh have to be in subjection to God to do what God requires. A man’s flesh turns back to dirt but the spirit . and soul goes back to God from whence it came. So why do man break protocol concerning the mannerism of God? Have not Jesus given us the victory over death? Jesus brought us back to the original plan of God that man would prescribe to the code and strictly adhere to the instructions given him in the Creation. We messed up but God is faithful to us that he would give us a second chance to correct our etiquette and precedence. We were born in sin and sin compass us about everyday. We must make a choice that we do not want to experience the second death spoken of in Revelation 21:8. John being alone on the Isle of Patmos was taken up into the realm of the Spirit had been taught that we should love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, the pride of life, and the lust of the eye. Revelation 21:8, but the fearful and unbelieving, and the abominable and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstones, which is the second death.

The righteous is exempt from this second death. The second death come to those who are cast into the lake of fire. Many will see this second death because they follow after the mark of the beast. All the false Prophets that wrought miracles of deception, deceiving them that had received the mark of the beast and them that worshiped images. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection; on such the second death hath no power but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. We are exalted to be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the Devil as a roaring lion, walks about seeking whom he may devour. How can we watch if we are in a drunken stupor concerning our Creator? We set ourselves up to go to hell. We resist the very things in life that will bring us forth to God.

We see and receive the false Prophets that only tend to appease the flesh and men’s souls are dying and we have the responsibility of doing right. Satan is a defeated foe. He still will approach us and try to con us out of the things God has given us as a blessing.

Remember the blessings of the Lord towards us. Why would we want to die and go to hell when we can have all of heaven for eternity?
