Like Flint To The Wind

Your Word is Truth
Your Promises sure.
My dreams and plans
Are in Your Hands.

I set my face
Like flint to the wind.
As the enemy tries
To break my stride.

My love, My God
I am fixed on You.
Help me not to falter
Help me not to stray.

You are my Shepherd
I shall not want
You lead me in peace
For now and evermore.

For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed. Isaiah 50:7

Jennifer, this is a lovely poem and just like the others I find that the more I read it the deeper it impacts me. Try writing more poems for your style is interesting and people need to read your sentiments. Well done.
