Gospel
"They listened to Him, and then they began going out, conscience-stricken, one by one, from the oldest down to the last one of them, till Jesus was left alone, with the woman standing there before Him in the center of the court.
When Jesus raised Himself up, He said to her, Woman, where are your accusers? Has no man condemned you? She answered, No one, Lord! And Jesus said, I do not condemn you either. Go on your way and from now on sin no more." (John 8:9-11)
In the above Scriptures, consciences were convicted when put face to face with Jesus. If we will put ourselves in God's presence; seeking His heart, we will not operate in condemnation.
It is impossible to see others through the eyes of Jesus when we have our own planks blurring our vision. (Matthew 7:1-5) We have to start dealing with our "junk" ~ allowing the love and mercy of God to restore us. It is then that what we have received freely, we will freely be able to give. (Matthew 10:8) Then and only then will we see clearly through eyes of love and compassion.
Remember: Stones never heal a man.
