Poetry
Many So Many
Many years long since removed,
From Mary’s virgin birth,
When God would leave His throne on high,
To place His son on earth.
Many lonely nights now past,
Through life’s revolving door,
Many souls have been returned,
To shelves in heavens store.
Many grains of sand now spent,
So many suns evolved,
So many drops of rain have fell,
Since Christ died on the cross.
Time has no way to even dent,
The patience God displays,
Questions are like blowing chaff,
Powerless to persuade.
God’s wisdom knows which earthly tick,
Will fulfill heavens plan,
And not the greatest fleshly push,
Can shift eternal sand.
