Growing over a faint heart
Weary from a sprinters start
Falling as sand through a grip
Tasting sorrow every sip
Leaning on an alibi
Coinciding on a high
Living life to buy some time
Hoping for my favorite crime
Now I dread it all once more
Saving stills up in a sore
Never to see them again
Worth their debt of a beasts den
Because I didn’t endure
Because my heart wasn’t clear
And a strengths flee gave its sign
God made His strong tower mine
