Purchased for Purpose

In His precious blood we are purchased
Our inheritance, hope for each passing hour
Sealed in His love, His fullness, His power

A mystery it’s not, nor puzzle to solve
Knowledge limited to not just few
Rather blessing revealed, when born anew

Where we are today, need not be tomorrow
Starting life over, is why Jesus came
Warmth of His presence, His heavenly flame

Predestined to the purpose of Him
To work the counsel of all His will
His everlasting grace, with us still

The praise of His Glory
His word is truth, having believed
Bountiful riches, for us to receive

His promise for our inheritance
Citizens of heaven, our purchase assured
Pilgrim for purpose, binding thru His Word

Hope Guaranteed, never a doubt
Bountiful joy, never to leave us
Secure in Jesus, purchased for purpose
