Where are You Oh Lord?
I need to find You, my life depends on You.
I am desperate for Your peace.
I am franticly looking for Your face.
I am yearning to stand in Your presences.
My soul is distressed with life’s problems.
My heart is despairing and forlorn.
It is despondent and inconsolable without You.
Oh Lord come quickly to me before I perish.
You are the bread of life that satisfies my soul.
I hunger for Your rest and safety.
Let me enter into Your tent.
Place me under neither Your wing.
I am pining away, longing for Your love.
Comfort me with Your loving arms.
Hold me so tight that even Satan cannot pull me away.
Guard my heart and keep it focused on You.
You seem far from me, I ache to be near Your heart.
I desire to hear its beat. Let me rest my head upon it.
I need to feel its warmth and care.
It is what sustains me went I can stand no more.
It is essential that I draw from strength and depths of it living water.
You are my foundation, a strong tower, and hope.
You are the banner to which I cling,
The rock on which I stand in faith.
I do not fully understand Your unconditional love.
I just know that I want to get lost in it.
I want to be afloat on its immense ocean of joy.
I requisite that You bury me in its boundless mercy.
Cover me completely with Your grace and blood.
Restore to me the joy of my salvation.
Let Your perfect love cast out all my fears.
Let it command the doubt and worries to flee.
Your love surpasses my ability to understand.
It exceeds my ability to receive and transcend all Earthly love.
Oh Lord come swiftly and take me away
Let me ascend into Your heaven throne room
Allow me to enter into the Holy of Holies
And fall before You crying Holy, Holy, Holy.
Let me have the honor of worshiping You.
There is no one as awesome, wonderful or grand as You.
There is no one as powerful, mighty or potent as You.
There is no one as wise, just, and righteous as You.
There is no one as impressive and creative as You.
There is no one as loving, forgiving, or merciful as You.
You are faithful and true, the only living God.
Fill me to overflow with Your glory.
Place on me Your robe of righteousness.
Wipe away all my tears and heal my broken heart.
Put Your healing balm upon its wounds
For they are deep and fatal if untreated.
Cause me to be whole again, restore my hope.
My spirit pleas to soar to heaven gates and beg my requests.
I want to dance again on its streets as run home to my Daddy.
I want Him to kiss me and make everything better.
Let me look into the eyes of my precious Savior.
For in them I see a hope and a future.
I see the promise of what can be.
I see the reality that I am desired and loved
And that the past no longer has a hold on me.
Oh Lord, hurry unto me and let me hear Your voice.
I am waiting and listening for its return.
I miss the long walks, just conversing with a friend.
Your voice is still so sweet to me.
Its sound brings ecstasy of my groom and loves return.
Every second apart from Him is agony.
Even when we talk of nothing, it completes me.
It calms my trouble soul and causes it to be still.
I find in it acceptance and the knowledge that it will be ok.
It reassures me that You have not forgotten me
Nor have You abandoned me in my time of need.
It speaks to me of promises of things to come,
And that this season of woe will pass.
It declares that You are bigger and more powerful that it.
I want to chat with You about path ahead.
I need to address my course and see if it in line with Yours.
Pour out Your unlimited wisdom unto me,
Quicken my mind that it may remember Your Word.
I thirsty for its healing power in my life again.
I am dying, revive and save me once more form death
As You did so many years ago.
I desire to touch those nail scared hands
For they show how great a love You have.
Place Your victorious hand of blessing once again upon my head.
Give to me a double portion of Your Spirit
So that others may see You in me.
Make me unto Your image
And let all of myself die to Your will.
Let me be drunk in Your spirit, lost in time and place
Remind me that this world in not my home
And to look at things beyond this realm.
Let me see angels, wonders of heaven.
Let me see miracles and signs of Your greatness.
Let me dream dreams, see visions, and have word of wisdom.
Let me see the fruit of my prayers and witness.
Let me see Your victory in my life.
Let me see the healing of this land and Your people.
Free my spirit to worship You in love and truth in whatever form it takes.
Guard my mouth and heart that it may not grumble against You,
Curse You or wonder away from Your living waters
That wash my heart white as snow once more.
Do not let my soul forget all Your benefits
Or that You forgive all my many sins on that cross.
Remind me of who You are and who I am,
A child, a bride, and a holy priest.
But mostly that I am loved no matter what.
