Father I stand witness to your power to open any door,
The same doors closed to me before,
I stand witness how you've made a hateful boy into a loving man,
How you've given me strength and made me come to understand,
You've grabbed me, turned me around and pulled out a long lasting knife,
Pushed me away from the drugs and violence and gave me life,
Made me know as long as you are there I need nothing else,
You've eased the pain that was destroying my mental health,
I stand witness to your glory and your power,
You've picked up my broken spirit during my darkest hour,
I come to you with song and praise,
I no longer stare at the ground you've made me keep my head raised,
I look at these demons and proclaim my Father's name,
For far to long have I lived with pain and shame,
These hateful demons still try to make me relive my past,
But I walk towards the future you've laid before me as I remind the demons " Your Time Will Not Last"
