Love is the vine, the roots, the stalk
the part feeding, nourishing
the strength, the support
holding me in loving arms
me the shoot, the branch only
bearing fruit, when I remain in the vine
living in the love of God
loving others, offering fruits
not just living in the vine alone
but bearing witness, testimony,
service, love, joy,
the fruit of the spirit, so long as
I remain in the vine
sharing the love, the grace of God
with all who are hungry
