Dear God, Father in heaven.

On my knees I seek refugee and peace
I am lost and afraid, far from home
I hear the snake’s hiss increase
The fog has eluded me once more

Weary I am
Of the confusion and pain
Desiring to help
To save in Your name

But how can I who has stumbled
Reach out a hand?
When I myself require
help to understand

My God, could you

CHORUS:
Send the shepherd to find me
The shepherd to guide me
To lead me home
To stand before Your throne
Could you send Jesus to remind me
Of the love that defines Thee

Father, I was foolish to stray
I am alone and troubled
Fearing the truth I did betray
Is forgiveness possible?

Wounded I kneel
Come take me home
Send the physician to heal
To calm the storm

The shepherd has sought us
The shepherd will lead us
To our home
To Worship before God’s throne.
Jesus had shown us
How Love will confess
If I could just hold on
To the love of our Creator
Truth will be revealed
Through the Mediator
