that covered town and countryside
nudged out by blustery winds of March
the harbinger of sweet springtide.

Soon there will be a gently breeze
to blow across the verdant ground
when fresh Spring flowers show their heads
and violets, rose, and birch abound.

Such days to come of scent filled air
and busy birds upon the wing
of Nature bursting into life
with the promise of the joys of Spring
