I came across a mountain
It seemed a mile high
And just like every other day
I met it with a sigh.
I called upon the rainfall
White clouds; I could create
I even set the temperature
Then set out for our date.
I stood there
Yet I conquered
For the mountain dwindled down,
I didn’t have to move my feet
Once placed on solid ground.
My hands did all the bidding
And at times it sure was hot
But perseverance was my friend
Thou shall not miss one spot.
Having sensed the emptiness
I knew to reach below
Where silver is discovered
Yet many will not go.
Finally, feeling satisfied
I gave myself a hug
Gently wrung the kitchen rag
And gave the stop a tug.
Dishes are done!

Cute! I was not sure what your "Mountain" was... Good twist.
Yes, dishes do seem to be a mountain in our life. Funny how the small things can grow in our minds.
