I wanted to scream or cry.
My heart kept asking why?
Why throw your job away?
My trust you did betray?
I expected more of you.
Please, tell me it isn't true.
How can I forgive you
A second chance you blew.
Then as in a vision I did see
My Lord looking tenderly at me
A tear was falling down His cheek
At once His forgiveness I did seek.
How many times did His heart ache
By foolish choices I did make.
How can I deny the grace
My Lord bestows as I look on His face.
