Bring on the wise men, the scribes of our day
Loose the philosophers till they all have their say
And in the cacophonous risings they make
The prideful delusions where truth is at stake
In the cloudy confusion rising up from the stew
God, do for the humble what no one can do

Pierce through to intentions shrouded in pride
Where vain recognition; where thirst for dominion reside
Topple the mountains of power hungry greed
But to the abased, come, fill up every need
Make foolish the counsel of rivals who rail
Against your steadfast love, and to your ways assail

Such wisdom is yours, bring their insight to naught
Use the foolish and lowly, the weak and distraught
The repentant, and those who know they are poor
The destitute; kneeling at death's open door
Bring on the wise men, let them all have their say
But out of the chaos let your love show the way
