When the candle that lights up your darkness,
blows out and you see your fruitless deeds.
When the secret things you do, no longer please,
You are ready to fall down on your knees.

When the shame of your disobedient heart,
shines through the shadows lurking in your mind.
When the fraud, of your life has been exposed,
You are ready to receive a light of another kind.

When you wake up from your self-righteousness,
with your pride, no longer your guiding light.
You will awake to what is good, right and true,
and the darkness you’ve lived in, will turn bright.

When you rise up, and live your life in His light,
you will stop pursuing the things done in the dark.
The shine of the Lord will be forever upon you,
and the path, you take with Him will never part.

When you truly give your life over to Him,
The fruit of His light will grow inside of you.
When you truly, just want to please the Lord,
His love and faithfulness with be yours too.
