Why do you still fear my little child?
Why are you scared of the steps to take?
When will you give your whole heart to me?
So I can heal you of things unseen

Have you forgotten I have always been there?
When you’ve felt alone you have always been there
When you walked away I waited for you
When people had prayed you’d see the truth

So now you have come back into my arms
But still you doubt my love for you
I died on the cross to take your shame
I died on the cross to take your pain

So let it all go and trust only in me
And I will lead you into greater things
Don’t dwell on the past but live for today
And I will keep you on the narrow way

Remember my promises, feel my peace
Feel only love gently healing your life
Stop all the doubting and self condemnation
Just look to the cross and trust my word

I want to bless you with all things good
But my blessing won’t get through a wall
Let me break it down with understanding and love
Please give me your life your love my all
