"A fool gives full vent to his anger, but a wise man keeps himself under control." (Proverbs 29:11)

Every Saturday night of the year, in most big cities in the country, someone is killed because they give "full vent to their anger". Because of a real or supposed offense some fool will say rash words in anger, and some other fool will engage in a physical altercation. Too often one fool dies, and the other fool ends up in jail. Sometimes it is not this extreme. It may be someone shooting off their mouth in anger, hurting or offending others. In either case if they only had exercised some restraint they would have avoided a troublesome situation. That is something a wise person knows. The wise person keeps his/her head and avoids trouble. Self control and wisdom will save your life.
