The Body Is Sacred, It Is As Pure Gold
Only you, the person that resides in a body can determine if you are gold or not. How important are you to yourself. How do you relate to God’s saving grace? How relevant is God in your behavior as a Christian? Does your behavior testify who God is in your life? Do you openly testify of what God has done in your life? How a man or woman receive God and testify of His goodness determines the sacredness of their body. It also determines if they will receive that crown of righteousness reserved for them by Jesus.
My (of or relating to me or myself especially as possessor and agent or object of an action). Body (the main part of, central or principal part of humans with distinguishing features that protect the inner being). Is (human race, human beings, equal, homogeneous, uniform, for or from different individuals of the same species; kind, sort, class of individuals having common attributes and designated by a common name). Sacred (dedicated or set apart for the service or worship of a deity, the rank or essential nature of a god, divinity, supreme being, one exalted or revered as supremely good or powerful. Sacred also mean you are devoted exclusively to one service or use, holy, entitled to reverence and respect, not secular or profane but highly valued and important, consecrated).
What identifies you in the body of Christ? Sapphire is a jewel, emeralds, ivory, jasper the second sapphire, but gold is a precious metal. Gold is also known as a jewel. Gold is good but your hope is not in the gold, but God. Having it, possessing it should mean that you appreciate God more and want to acquire more of His wisdom. In the Scriptures Gold is symbolic of great value, durability, purity and strength. It is not to be worshipped. Can you praise God with the gold he has blessed you with? The Israelites worshipped the golden calf at Sinai ignorantly to worship as the Api’s worship. The Api’s worship was practiced by the Egyptians although they worship was to a living bull. They committed sacrilege, the stole God’s glory with improper worship.
Israel was God’s chosen people but instead of worshipping a living God they worshipped dead things. The worship was wrong but symbolic only to a living creature as the Egyptians thought. They never worshipped dead stuff, when one bull died they sought out another bull to be sacred. They consecrated it to God, a gross irreverence toward God. We can take note of some very interesting attributes of a wrong nature.
The bull was sacred, separated and dedicated for the service or worship of a deity, exclusively devoted to this thing. Some Christians are not devoted to service times less alone God. Are we worthy, holy or accursed?
It was the best of the herd. The bull was highly valued, it had some worth, it was important, and we have a responsibility to God to let Him know how important He is to us. He is entitled to be reverenced and respected.
The bull was living, he had livelihood, actively functioning, full of life or vigor, had means of sustenance, life and conducted himself like so. Israel looked to dead stuff for their God. The bull had no joy or satisfaction though to offer man.
They were properly marked with the prescribed marks of goodness. They searched out for the best of the best of the herd
Idolatrous worship, they idolized the bull, loved him no matter the name they called it, it was wrong but they thought they were right. Exodus 20:23, 32:31.They put the bull in the place of God. They allowed their hearts to go after other Gods. There were many bulls used in worship through the years.
We are to change our ways and keep His commandments. Our sins testify against us, not Jesus. Our mouth and what we say out of our mouths testify against us. John 3:11 says we can only testify of that we have seen. If we had seen Jesus as he sees us, we would testify of his grace and mercy. We would testify of the Gospel to every one of the truth.
Are we convicted in our hearts, persuaded and convinced to serve God with all of our heart? A man is convicted by their own conscience. John 8:9, people will leave God and you and stop persecuting you only after they have been convicted of their own mess. They will be shown to be just as guilty of their sin as you are yours. Whosoever commit sin is the servant of sin but whosoever will believe on Jesus Christ and Him crucified shall know the truth and will be made free.
II Peter 3:10-15 describes the last day. It is our account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation. The day will come as a thief in the night Heavens shall pass away with a great noise, something will happen and you will hear it.The elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth shall be burned up and the works therein shall also be burned up. All things shall be dissolved, we are to be people of holiness, have holy conversation and godliness. Look for a new Heaven and a new earth, only the righteousness will dwell there. Be diligent in what you are looking for and be found in Him peace, without spot and blameless. Account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation, get wisdom and witness to someone else.
The scripture is spiritually discerned. There are the unlearned; having not come to the knowledge of Christ unable to process and attain knowledge, ignorant. There are the unstable that are not fixed in the Word, not steady in their actions, wishy washy, being in Christ today and out tomorrow. They waver in their purpose and miss what is set up to be attained at the end. It is too much wavering in their intents, the state of mind in which actions are done. What’s more disheartening is they lack the ability to move away from sin. When we are moved by feelings we find a lack of emotional control.
At the end of the day when it is all said and done will you grasp hold of the eternal life promised to you in the beginning? We are aliens in this world it is not our home; we are mere pilgrims passing through trying to transition to Heaven. When we realize the spiritual aspect of life we will again resurrect God’s original plan for man. No longer will we be silent as a lamb but will take the ticket provided us by the blood of Jesus Christ and accept his forgiveness and our faith will be something God can work with. We are explorers of eternity, hand picked to be used by God. What will you stand up for? Not standing for righteousness is the quickest way out of here.
Man God’s greatest creation need to hear the voice of God and realize what is important. Take hold of our lasting concord no matter the circumstances. Testify of God’s grace.
