Kingdoms rise and kingdoms fall and so do they who rule them, yet there is one kingdom that never falls and One King who will always rule,
God's kingdom is everlasting and His dominion is forevermore.

"Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
And Your dominion endures throughout all generations."

Psalm 145:13 (New King James Version)

Howsoever mighty and influential a person may be, she/he has a time period, has limitations. has a tenure.

I urge you today to imagine the vastness of God and His dominion, how He has been from the beginning and will be there even unto eternity and has and will never change.

Since the existence of God has never failed, the existence of goodness and blessedness has also never failed and all they who have been faithful to the everlasting God have always rejoiced in His goodness.

I am happy when I know that there is enough money in my bank accounts to fulfill my needs and upon doing the right signatures or entering the right pin (upon proving my identity) I can encash them as per my need, however if I lose my identity (forget my signature and pin no.) then its difficult to encash my money and thus I will have to stay in scarcity till I regain my identity (got my signature approved or get a new pin no.).

Let's compare this with the blessings in store for us in the Lord, we can always encash on the promises of the Lord till our identity is as per the Lord's will, however when we mingle ourselves with the sins of the world we lose our identity in the Lord and thus fail to experience the goodness of the Lord in our life.

The God of Abraham still lives and is the same, however we have to be like Abraham.
The God of Job still lives and still binds a hedge around them who are like Job.
The God of David still lives and He still gives victory to people who are 'men and women according to His heart.'

God is and His kingdom and His goodness remains, what is needed is the faithful Abraham, the blameless Job, the man/woman according to God's heart as David.

Jesus said.....

“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men.
“You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:13-16 (New King James Version)

God looks up to us with great expectations.

We are the good salt and the bright light and what we need to check is that do we have the goodness and the brightness that the Lord needs.

God's kingdom is forever and His goodness is forever and it will be for us forever when forever we belong to Him and walk in His perfect will.
