Acceptance

Agitated, from song long ago,
Waves upon waves in comfort they grow.
Winter wind blows to chastise my health,
Warming sun glows, such kindness in wealth.
Standing here naked of all worldly things,
Waves so refreshing, like soaring on wings.

Forcefulness blows convict of bitter heart,
Waves pull me closer, a new course to chart.
Sand taken away beneath swollen feet,
Yet endless they are the showers so sweet.
A harboring soul, clasping what’s not there,
Head bowed in silence near suns graceful glare.

A rock, massive scale, aside at rest.
Wandering eyes in search of detest.
Sunshine forgiving, with love it is sewn.
A rock to hold on, no more will I groan.
Waves splashing constant to keep me awake,
Warmth ever growing, twill never forsake.
