River’s Flow

Begins with many raindrops,
Rushing down from mountain tops.
Parchment for all who may come,
Peace, delighted, in its sum.

Frightening solace, among the ferns and stiff wood cabins.
But enticing and forgiving, the pool after the drop.
Washing away that which opposes,
Essence as sweet as summertime roses.

Content paths searching a rocky maze,
Paths as graceful as suns morning rays.
A soliloquy of sound flooding the ears,
Tumultuous presence, but calming through the years.

Continuous feeling of quietness heart,
A filling so wonderful in land apart.
For what is the price lathering in this joy?
The love of a king, and the death of His boy.
