Flourishing

Oh, Lord that I might be as zealous
In my old age as I am in my youth,
Oh, Lord that I might always seek,
To know Your ways and Your truth.
Lord, I pray on that day when death
Comes to escort me to Your royal seat.
Those who are left behind won’t mourn,
But will rejoice that my life was replete,
With love for You my precious Lord,
My Redeemer and bountiful benefactor,
That I, my Lord, am profoundly
a most jubilant and indebted celebrator.

The righteous will flourish like a palm tree, they will grow like a cedar of Lebanon; planted in the house of the LORD, they will flourish in the courts of our God. They will still bear fruit in old age, they will stay fresh and green, proclaiming, 'The LORD is upright--he is my Rock, and there is no wickedness in him'" -Psalm 92:12-15



Where are you in your walk with the Lord? Are you a beginner, a baby Christian just learning to take one step at a time? Or are you a seasoned sojourner, having been through a valley or two or three? In any case the mountaintops will be thrilling and valleys will be poignant, in fact the entire experience will be magnificent.

However, the one rule of thumb is this, you must always be growing. Each day will and should bring a new revelation regarding your relationship with God. He is your spouse, He is your all and everything. He is the great love of your life.

New Christians will awaken each morning eager to discover what He has in store for you today, but veteran believers should be doing the same. If you find that you are waning in that regard, examine your life, shore yourself up, get back in the groove, go back to the basics.

Dear Lovers of Christ the feeling should not diminish, it grows. It grows until you think it can not become any larger, yet tomorrow it will overwhelm you.

Keep check upon you heart for that is where your treasure lies and your treasure should be God, the great Elohim, Jehovah Gira, Jehovah Rafa, Jehovah Shauma, the Alpha and the Omega. If you lose Him, you will have lost everything!
