So many people travel
On the broad convenient way;
Their guiding light is darkness
Despite what the adverts say.

They promise them true freedom,
Popularity and wealth,
A relaxing of restraints—
This road is the way of death!!

Look at the fallen corpses,
Kings and kingdoms long deceased—
Their prestige counts for nothing
From the greatest to the least.

There’s a path much less travelled,
A restricted, narrow road,
The way which God appointed,
Which Jesus clearly showed.

Though fraught with more resistance,
It’s a journey worth the cost;
To follow its directions
Means you never will be lost.
