WONDERS OF THE CROSS !
CHRIST SACRIFICE FOR YOUR SANCTIFICATION.
The death of Christ radically change you,as God doesnt call you to be
forgiven,He calls you also to make you holy,to sanctify you through
the blood of Jesus Christ.Much evangelical preaching today empahsizes
frogiveness without regenaration,new birth without new life,imputed
righteousness without imparted righteousness,the gospel of success
without call to the holy life,and the pure heart.Christ died to save
and sanctify you.The English word "SANCTIFY',comes from Latin word
'SANCTUS'(HOLY) and 'FICARE'( TO MAKE ).To sanctify means to make
holy,sanctification is the supreme redemption act by which Christ with
His own blood makes His people holy in heart and life.The inspired
writer of the Epistles to the Hebrews teaches that the sacrifice of
Jesus is better than all the Old Testament sacrifice because it
provides a real,normal HOLINESS.
REDEMPTION THROUGH HIS BLOOD.
Hebrews 9 V 15-17,8 V 6,1 Timothy 2 V 5-6,Romans 3 V 24,26,Ephesians1
V 7,1 Peter 1 V 18-19.Jesus Christ,Your Lord and Saviour has obtained
eternal redemption for you (Hebrews 9 V 12) 'He is the mediator of the
New Testament for the redemption of the transgressions ,that you might
receive the promise of eternal inheritance (Hebrews 9 V 15 ),By God's
standard of righteousness and justice,the soul that sin must die
(Ezekiel 18 V 4 ).The only way a person could come to God was to have
the penalty of his paid.This payment,Jesus has provided for
evryone,who turns away from sin,and trusts HIM.In so doing ,He became
the only mediator,the only bridge between God and man,now God is
satisfied and men is pardoned ,when you put your faith in the shed
blood of CHRIST.
REMISSION THROUGH HIS BLOOD.
Hebrews 9 V 18-23,Exodus 24 V 6-8,Leviticus 17 V 1,1 John 1 V
7,Revelation 1 V 5-6,5 V 9-10.And without shedding of blood is no
means remssion (Hebrews 9 V 22 ),for this is my blood of the New
testament ,which is shed for many for the remissions of sin ( Matthew
26 V 28 ).These verses emphasizes three things which are related,a
testament demands a death,forgiveness demands blood,and judgment
demands a substitute,A Will,that is a testament,does not take efect
until the one who made the Will dies.The benefits and provisions of
the Will only come to the beneficiaries after the death of the
testator.Remission through the Blood of Jesus your saviour and Lord,He
ratified the New Convenant thorugh His own Blood,just as the Old
convenat was ratified by Moses with blood of animals.
RIGHTEOUSNESS THROUGH HIS BLOOD.
Herbrews 9 V 24-28,7 V 25,27,9 V 12-14,10 V 10,Titus 2 V 13-14,John 14
V 3,1 John 3 V 2-3'Now once in the end of the world,hath He appeared
to PUT AWAY SIN,by sacrifice of HIMSELF (Hebrews 9 V 26 ),And you know
that He was manifested TO TAKE AWAY YOUR( OUR ) SINS and in Him is no
sin (1 JOHN 3 V 5 ).He died in your place that you might be made the
righteousness of God in HIM' (2 Corinthians 5 V 21 ),You were to face
the judgment of GOD for the sinsyou have committed,Through faith in
Christ your ( our ) hearts is cleansed and you ( me) are made
righteous,you (me ) have passed from judgment unto life
,CHRIST,Through His death and blood has obtained redemption,remission
of sins and righteouness for you and me,Believe in Christ and be made
RIGHTEOUS
A NEW FOUND FAITH:THE WOMAN IN PUDAH !.
Before now she goes about in Veil,remains indoors (except on
exceptional cases ),monitored,and made to read and recite the Koran
daily.
This is the dilema of a woman in Pudah in Islamic way of
life-SHARIA,being therefore declare righteous by faith,You have peace
with God (Romans 5 V 1).It seems unbelieveable,but true,a once hater
of Christian ,NEVER !,she said,What a replica of Saul's encounter with
Jesus on his way to Damascus to persecute Christians,Aminat Sanni,was
also persecuting Christians preachers that stays at her house ,she
lets out for rents "How much more shall the blood of
Christ........(Hebrews 9 V 14 ).
What a miracle,she says,she was out to eject her Christian tenants
for praying out loudly ,using the nameJESUS !,on her way to the
house,something struck her ,and her innermind and spirit gave up the
hatred,She called on the Christian brother to pray for her,She began
to witness the GOOD TIDINGS !,She is now facing persecution,but she
remain committed ,she has converted her entire household to Christian
faith,NOW SHE IS BEING HUNTED,A FATWA has been placed on her,She is
challenged,But unwavered in her NEW FOUND FAITH.
Revelations 1 V 17-18 "And he laid his right hand upon me,saying
unto me fear not,I am the first and the last ,Iam he that liveth,and
was dead,behold,Iam alive forever more amen,and have the keys of hell
and of death "
THE DIVINE ATTRIBUTES OF THE LIVING GOD.
The triumph of Daniel's faith produced a great testimony to the power
,care,love of the living God for His own.It was faith in God that made
Daniel dare the decree of the king It was faith that made him remain
calm under life threatening trouble and trials,It was faith that
brought assurance that all would well at the end,It was faith that
breathe peace and patience to his heart in the hour of danger and
propable death,It was faith that moved God's heart to send His angel
into the den to shut the mouths of all the lions,God recognises faith
and responds to all it's call and petitions'
"No manner of hurt was found upon him,because he believe in his God"
(Daniel 6 V 23).The deliverance of Daniel brought a great a discovery
to Dairus,the king saw God as the living God,having
personality.love,affection,heart of
compassion,power,kingdom,dominion,majesty and glory.The great God is
not just a great ,mighty force,He is the LIVING GOD ,He is not an
impersonal powerful substance or entity like elecrricity or thunder
,He is the LIVING GOD ,And He is not like a man ,living and growing
,who passes from infancy to manhood in life,He is the UNCHANGING GOD.
It touched the spirit of Dairus that there is a BEING ,the living
GOD,who could accomplish such great ,supernatural act,uncommon to man
since the begining of the world.He couldnot resist the urge to
proclaim the and publish the knowleged andrevelation of the living GOD
to all people,nations,and languages that dwell in all earth"Let the
earth hear,all that is therein ( Isaiah 34 V 1 ) .All those who know
the true living GOD,through redemption and salvation in Christ His
only begotten Son must make him known to others by all means possible.
Nebuchadnezzar,Dairus,Pharaoh,Saul,Nero,Herod,Ceaser,have their
kingdoms coming to an end,But God's kingdom is ETERNAL.
Dairus,Daniel,Shadrach,Abednego,Meshach,Moses,Elijah,All
Isreal,Peter,Paul,Pharaoh,Balak,Ahab,Herod,Nebuchadnezzar,saw God's
SUPERNATURAL ACTS !
Faith is the substance of things hoped for,the evidence of things not
seen.It is through faith we believe that the earth was established by
the word of GOD.
With faith we pray for things from GOD,Through FAITH we belive that
Jesus is the SON of God,you will be sheltered from different types of
problems.
It is through faith,we believe our prayers are answered,In the
BIBLE:St Mattew 15:21-28,It is the faith that the woman of Cannan had
in Jesus who cried to Jesus to have mercy on her to heal her daughter
,that got Satan angry.
Even,Hebrew 11:1-31,we see what happened with Faith in the Bible
though our fore fathers in the Old Testament.It is ver compulsory and
neccessary for evry Christian to FAITH in God,Jesus and Holy Spirit,if
he or she wants to live a well meanningful life.
Through Faith we move closer to God,everday,Through Faith,we conquer
Devil,having Faith,this will make our mind be at rest during
tribulations,i.e.when we pray with faith we will overcome our problems
on earth.
Whosoever without faith will be conquered by Satan and his deceitful
ways.It is through Faith we move with God our creator,Jesus counted
much on Faith,He Said ,"If you have Faith as a grain of Mustard
seed,If we say unto sycamore tree,be thou plucked up by the rot,and be
thou planted in the sea,It will obey us.
Also the woman with the issue of blood for twelve years was healed
through her faith,also Simon the Blind,repeatedly called on Jesus.
FAITH IS THE FOUNDATION OF OUR BELIEVE
