I give my thanks to the Lord
To His greatness I do applaud
In His arms of comfort I sort
The love for me He brought
When He died on Calvary's tree
My sinful heart to free
Oh help me Lord to know
For I really need to sow
Your seeds of love and kindness
That will overcome the blindness
Of people just like me
Who sometimes fail to see
That giving of oneself to others
Does much to open us as lovers
And servants of the Spirits truths
Of patience love and self control
That ripen into blessed fruit
So let me be your golden light
And let me always shine so bright
Touching hearts to feel your love
So they in turn, thank you above.
