After some time of close inspection,
I see we don’t run the same direction.
I go here, you go there.
We seem to have quite different cares.

We all fall, but you seem to jump.
Then seem to blame others for your slump.
I don’t think we have the same passion.
Our lives seem of opposite fashion

It breaks my heart to see you crash,
but then it’s your choice to run that dash.
I try to pull you from your pit.
But you pull and make me slip.

Don’t be surprised when you run to your corner
when I stay here on this brighter border.
You’re much different than these folks,
you seem to wear a heavier yoke.
