Forever seeking answers they don’t find,
While others see it all as dreary humdrum,
To life’s true purpose many walking blind.
But God created life with good intention
And everything around us points to Him,
It’s up to us to see and pay attention
Not treat the evidence as merely whim.
He has also put it down in writing,
The beginning and the end for all to see
And though it’s not to many people’s liking
It’s God’s account and that settles it for me.
Piece by piece the answer’s getting clearer
Each passing day I see things fall in place,
The signs abound, the end is drawing nearer,
It seems like time is picking up the pace.
Jesus warned of coming great deception,
A man of peace the whole world will embrace,
Deluded by the lie and Christ’s rejection
Will accept a vain imposter in His place.
But true peace is only found in Jesus,
All other peace is transient at best;
True rest and future glory’s guaranteed us
In Him alone—The answer to life’s quest.
This piece on peace I write to stir your thinking
That you might join the pieces just like me;
He’s coming soon—His word says in a twinkling—
My wish for you— His peace eternally.
